The MasterCut series is a versatile CNC cutting machine, which can be used both in small workshops as well as in large industrial productions. The basic version with guide rail in the X direction is suitable for automated oxy-fuel or conventional plasma cutting and marking. Optional extensions enable course precision plasma cutting or machining of pipes.
Flexible and robust, the MasterCut series is ideal for various cutting tasks. Whether in small workshops or large industrial buildings, this CNC machine delivers high-quality 2D cuts using plasma and oxyfuel. With the MasterCut rotator, it provides precise bevel cuts for efficient weld edge preparation on flat material, pipes, and profiles.
MicroStep has enhanced the new MasterCut to elevate production quality. The portal bridge and guides have been improved, with a 30% increase in bridge weight and a remarkable 60% increase in guide weight. Additionally, more powerful servo motors have been incorporated, resulting in enhanced robustness, smoother operation, and greater cutting precision.

Enhanced machine frame delivers even smoother operation
Because a robust machine construction is an important condition for excellent cutting results, in the latest generation of the MasterCut series the gantry supports have been extended by more than 60% in longitudinal direction (X axis), along with a reinforcementof the gantry beam and a redesigning of the drive system. Thanks to these measures, the positioning system is even more stable and lets the machine operate smoothly also with heavier equipment installed.
Cutting with plasma up to 440 A and oxyfuel up to 200 mm
The machine offers excellent cutting results by utilizing both high-definition and conventional plasma sources, with an advanced height control based on proprietary adaptive algorithms backed by the ball screw actuated Z axis. A combination of plasma and oxyfuel cutting technologies along with extensive work area configurations make the MasterCut a highly versatile production tool with an optimal price/performance ratio.
Ergonomic and uncomplicated: The iMSNC® control systemz
Apart from the externally positioned control console with ergonomic 24″ touch screen display, the system has additional control consoles on the gantry bridge. This allows the operator to easily interrupt a cutting program, move the machine manually, enter a new sheet or quickly perform a manual cut.

Remote Diagnostics
With iMSNC® and numerous remote maintenance modules, MicroStep offers the best foundation for fast and competent help via remote dialin. Nearly all electronic components can be evaluated and diagnosed using MicroStep’s software. Thus, in more than 90 percent of all cases, machine downtime can be remedied quickly and easily without the need of a service technician on site.

The intelligent solution for cross-technology interface
The system consists of a single control panel with a TFT touch screen monitor and a control panel with a LCD display on the portal bridge. In order to achieve maximum efficiency and flexibility for our machines, the ergonomic control panel offers the option to run current cutting processes parallel with inter leading new cutting programs and to generate more NC codes. Since the iMSNC control system and all CAM software solutions are designed by us, the software with its versatile modules can be customized individually to your production requirements. Being tuned into the technology parameters database, a consistently high cutting quality even with different conditions is enabled. In order to optimize the production process the iMSNC control comes standard with a number of efficient evaluation tools. The necessary overview of current cutting jobs, cutting time, cost calculations or machine utilization is thus made easier.
