The HiFocus neo ensures the user many benefits from high-speed cutting and marking on electrically conductive materials. All this improvement with added excellent cutting quality and remaining low processing costs.
This optimised technology ensures that the consumables are protected and the plasma cutting process is more efficient. The units HiFocus 280i, 360i and 440i neo can be used for diverse cutting tasks with material thicknesses from 0.5 to 120 mm. This same equipment also allows for underwater cutting.
This new and improved Plasma Source has a wide Application Area:
- Metal construction and engineering
- Steel service centres
- Steel and hall construction
- Dished Ends construction
- Pipeline engineering
- Shipbuilding
- Commercial vehicle industry
- Crane construction
- Offshore constructions
- Wind power plants
When you think of the patented Contour Cut technology and cutting of mild steel, you think of precision. Small contours, narrow webs and above all small holes with a hole diameter to material thickness ratio of 1:1 can be cut with Contour Cut. The new Contour Cut Speed application allows the cutting of contours in similar quality with a speed that is up to 50 % higher.
Advantages at a glance
- Suited for all common guiding systems as there are CNC-controlled guiding systems, pipe cutting machines or robots
- High-quality reproducible cutting results due to automatic gas control unit
- Long lifetime of consumables
- Higher cutting speeds reduce the costs per cutting meter
- Nearly dross-free cuts and therefore almost no rework required
- Low perpendicular and surface roughness
Kjellberg: New HiFinox Cathodes Convince with Long Lifetime and Very Good Plasma Cut Quality in Stainless Steel and Aluminium Innovative Technology for Plasma Cutting of Stainless Steel and Aluminium with Significantly Less Dross
Finsterwalde – From now on, Kjellberg offers new HiFinox cathodes for the plasma power sources Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus. The cut quality shows in metallically bright cut surfaces, narrow kerfs and significantly less dross. The cathodes can be used for stainless steel and alumnium from 1 to 6 mm.
Due to the new design of the cathodes, the optimised production process and the new technology that is applied for patent, the lifetime of the cathodes is increased considerably – with a cutting current of 60 A by factor 5 to 10. The low backburn of the cathodes guarantees a consistently high cutting quality, which is shown in metallic blank surfaces with significantly less dross.
Users benefit from the new cathodes E042, F042+ and G042+: Sstandard consumables for all present plasma power sources Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus and can easily be used by applying the existing cutting data.
